Thousands take to the streets in Toronto's largest Palestinian solidarity rally yet

All photos by Natalie Lochwin & Michael Laxer

Tens of thousands of Torontonians rallied at the US Consulate in Toronto and then marched through city streets in what was the largest solidarity with Palestine in the city yet since Israel began its horrific bombing campaign in Gaza. The crowd estimates are at least 25,000.

On University Ave. there were people as far as the eyes could see. Countless Palestinian flags waved, people carried signs condemning Israel, Biden and Trudeau and chants of "Free, Free Palestine", "The People United Will Never Be Defeated" and many others filled the air.

Here are a number of photos from this great day in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
