The 13th Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee concluded its 14th plenum on November 6 with major resolutions to finalize preparations for the 14th National Party Congress, direct national development strategies, and streamline the political system and administrative apparatus.


In his concluding statements at the plenum, To Lam, the General Secretary of the CPV Central Committee, stated that over the two-day meeting, the committee reached important decisions. These included agreeing on the number and composition of members for the Politburo and the Secretariat of the 14th tenure, as well as making personnel recommendations for these entities and other high-level positions within the party and state.

The 14th plenum focused on reviewing and finalizing key reports, organizational matters, and socio-economic policies in preparation for the 14th National Party Congress.
