On the morning of May 14, the Ñico López Party University hosted the 2nd Scientific Conference "Fidel Castro Ruz-Ho Chi Minh: Vision of Revolution," dedicated to the analysis and debate of the revolutionary legacy of both leaders. This event, held in Havana, was part of the 6th Interparty Theoretical Seminar between the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two nations.
In the presentations, both from the Cuban and Vietnamese sides, the history of brotherhood between Cuba and Vietnam was honored, highlighting the enduring legacy of two leaders who shaped the destiny of their peoples.

Since Fidel Castro's historic visit to Vietnam in 1973, in the midst of war, the bond between the two nations has been a symbol of resilience and solidarity. With firm words and an unwavering commitment, Fidel promised that Cuba would always stand by the heroic Vietnamese people, a gesture that sealed a relationship based on loyalty and mutual support.
Ho Chi Minh and the Commander-in-Chief shared a revolutionary vision that transcended borders. Both fought for their countries' independence, championed social justice, and built a socialist model rooted in the identity of their peoples. The conference highlighted how their thoughts continue to illuminate the path of new generations, inspiring the struggle for sovereignty and the well-being of the people.
Since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1960, both countries have shared strategies for economic, political, and social development. In this context, the scientific conference became an essential forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences.

The meeting not only reaffirmed the historic friendship between Cuba and Vietnam, but also allowed for the updating of political and economic strategies, with the aim of strengthening the socialist model of both countries. The Second Scientific Conference "Fidel Castro Ruz-Ho Chi Minh: Vision of Revolution" was a reflection of the shared commitment to social transformation, justice, and national sovereignty.
The event was chaired by Teresa Amarelle Boué, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Secretary General of the Federation of Cuban Women, and His Excellency Mr. Le Quang Long, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Cuba. Members of the Central Committees of the Communist Parties of both nations were also present.
