Against US Imperialist Threats, Blockade, and Adventurism in Cuba: Communist Party of Pakistan

The Communist Party of Pakistan proudly reaffirms its absolute solidarity with socialist Cuba, its brave revolutionary people and all anti-imperialist forces worldwide. We strongly condemn the cowardly threats, political blackmail and detention/ kidnap plots by US imperialism against Cuba’s revolutionary leaders especially Comrade Raúl Castro.
These cheap tactics are purely fascist in nature. They are the exact same illegal methods the US used against Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. We view these imperialist actions as a total violation of international law and a direct attack on state sovereignty.
The true goal of US imperialism has always been global hegemony, pursued through economic blockades, military interventions, sanctions and regime-change operations to intimidate, subjugate and dominate nations across the world. This bullying has nothing to do with "democracy" or "law" rather it is the desperate, final gasp of a dying capitalist system trying to save itself.
The Communist Party of Pakistan categorically states that the US ruling class is currently in a deep crisis. It is trapped by internal contradictions, a heavy war economy and fading global credibility. In its panic, Washington is trying to shift its burdens onto the oppressed peoples of the world. History shows that whenever US imperialism faces decline, it responds by escalating economic pressure, political aggression and starting imperialist wars to maintain its weakening grip over the world.
Today, Washington faces continuous humiliation on the global diplomatic stage. From facing defeats at the hands of Iran to its growing diplomatic retreat before China, this has terrified the White House ruling clique. Now, the US establishment and the warmongers around Donald Trump are ready for dangerous military adventures. They want to hide their domestic failures and maintain a hollow illusion of their power, even if millions of people worldwide must pay the price.
The decades-long blockade against Cuba is part of this brutal policy. Its only goal is to inflict ‘collective punishment’ on a free, sovereign, and socialist society for refusing to submit to US imperialism. This siege is a continuous form of war aimed at forcing the Cuban people to their knees and crushing their revolutionary will. History of US imperialism proves that US has long engaged in dirty tricks and internal conspiracies to sabotage the Cuban Revolution at all cost. Let us be clear, every attack on Cuba is an attack on workers, peasants, youth and anti-imperialist forces everywhere. Cuba is not just a country. It is a living symbol of resistance against imperialism and a beacon of socialist possibility.
The Communist Party of Pakistan Demands:
* The immediate and unconditional lifting of all US economic, commercial and financial sanctions against Cuba.
* An immediate end to all US interference, sabotage and regime-change plots in Cuba.
* The global working class and progressive forces unite as an iron wall against imperialist wars and state terrorism.
* The further organization and consolidation of the international working-class movement, progressive students, youth and revolutionary solidarity to defend Cuba.
The Communist Party of Pakistan firmly believes that despite all its military might, financial resources and covert conspiracies, imperialism cannot break the resolve of a people standing firm on their ideology and revolutionary heritage. We warn that if US imperialism commits the folly of direct aggression at any level, it will face a humiliating defeat in history that will overshadow even the historic disgrace of the "Bay of Pigs invasion."
