During the official visit of Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, to the Republic of Belarus, comrade Emilio Lozada García, a member of the PCC Central Committee and Head of its International Relations Department, signed separate Exchange and Cooperation Agreements with the leaders of the Belaya Rus (BR) and the Communist Party of Belarus (CPB).

In a discussion with Oleg Romanov, chairman of the Belaya Rus Party, the positive relations between the PCC and this political organization since its establishment in March 2023 were emphasized. Lozada García wished BR success at its Third Congress, scheduled for June 28.

Likewise, in a meeting with Sergei Syrankov, First Secretary of the CPB Central Committee, both sides agreed on the importance of strengthening relations and exchanges between the two party organizations.

In both meetings, Lozada expressed his gratitude for their continued solidarity with the Cuban Revolution, as well as for their condemnation of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the U.S. against Cuba.

He also extended an invitation to his Belarusian counterparts to the Third International Meeting of Theoretical Publications of Left Parties and Movements and the Granma Rebelde Festival, which will take place next October in Havana.
