On Friday, October 3, a working meeting took place at the Havana Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba led by Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic.

During the meeting, concerns important to the community were assessed, including the electrical situation, public hygiene, and water supply services, among others. Teams were established that will soon collaborate with local authorities and residents to directly address each of these issues and valid concerns.

Demonstrating the permanent connection between the Ministries of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, the Interior, and the people they belong to, forces and resources from both military institutions are involved, alongside support from other Central State Administration agencies.

The meeting, attended by Political Bureau Members Manuel Marrero Cruz and Roberto Morales Ojeda, Army Corps General Alvaro Lopez Miera, and Brigadier General Jose Amado Ricardo Guerra—who are the Prime Minister of the Republic, the Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Party, the Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, and the Secretary of the Council of Ministers, respectively—also served as a call for decisive action by the institutions of the province and the municipalities.

The confidence that the population will actively participate in their communities was confirmed, with the active involvement of mass organizations and young people in each location, as part of a integrated system connecting national, provincial, and municipal structures.
