The people of the UK in 1943 understood very well the astonishing sacrifices being made by and the courage of the Red Army and the Soviet people in the fight against the Nazis and fascism. They understood just how essential it was.

We cannot allow the reactionary historical revisionists in the ruling circles of Europe and North America to erase and distort this great legacy. The world owes the Red Army and all the peoples of the Soviet Union an eternal debt for their incredible resilience and steadfastness without which the war would not have been won.
