Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai (born on 1 November 1910 in Vinh, Nghệ An province) was a Vietnamese revolutionary, politician, and one of the leading figures of the Indochinese Communist Party in the 1930s.

On 28 August 1941, at age 30, she was executed by firing squad by the French colonial government at Ngã ba Giồng, Hóc Môn, Gia Định, after the Southern Rebellion failed. She is remembered as a martyr of the Vietnamese independence struggle, symbolizing patriotism, resilience, and sacrifice.

Today, she is honored in Vietnam through streets, schools, and administrative units named after her, such as the Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai Ward in Bắc Kạn and Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai High School. Her life remains a symbol of the courage of Vietnamese women in the anti‑colonial fight.
