Daily LIFT #324

T-34 Tank Monument in Honour of the Mongolian Revolutionary Tank Brigade, Ulan Bator 1976 -- Daily LIFT #324

The 112th "Revolutionary Mongolia" Tank Brigade consisted of volunteers from the Mongolian People's Republic who fought alongside the Red Army after the Soviet Union was invaded by Nazi Germany in 1941.

The brigade fought all the way from November, 1941 when it helped to defend Moscow, right until the end when it was involved in the fall of Berlin.

Under the tank you can see the "path" the brigade took fighting its way from Moscow to Berlin.
