German Communist Party militants demonstrating on the Monument to Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht in Berlin -- Daily LIFT #866


The monument designed by Mies van der Rohe was constructed in 1926 to honour the two great German Communist leaders murdered by rightists on January 15, 1919. The Nazis destroyed it in 1935.
