Down with the anti-Communist law! Solidarity with Czech Communists!

The New Communist Party of Yugoslavia (NKPJ) expresses full solidarity with the members of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM), following the decision of the President of the Czech Republic to adopt a law that criminalizes communist propaganda. This vile law legally equates communism with Nazism, stating that anyone who “establishes, supports, or promotes Nazi, communist, or other movements that aim to undermine human rights and freedoms or spread racial, ethnic, religious, or class hatred” can face up to five years in prison.

This law, like others of its kind, does not aim to combat Nazism, racism, or xenophobia — its only true target is communists, who maintain strong popular support in the Czech Republic. The law equates “class hatred” with racism and xenophobia — in other words, it criminalizes class struggle and every form of working-class resistance against the bourgeoisie. By adopting this law, the Czech bourgeoisie is following the example of the Baltic states and Poland, where communists have long been persecuted — all of which take inspiration from the fascist regime in Kyiv.

Anti-communism in these and other EU countries is not a coincidence, but a result of a systematic campaign by EU bureaucrats to crush resistance to the exploitation and wars caused by Western imperialism — whose fiercest and most genuine opponents are the communists.

The Czech authorities, as members of the imperialist alliance of the EU and NATO, are primarily targeting the left-patriotic coalition Stačilo! (Enough!), led by KSČM Chairwoman Kateřina Konečná. This coalition takes a firm anti-imperialist stance, opposes sending weapons to the Kyiv regime, rejects sanctions against Russia and Belarus, and advocates for a referendum on the Czech Republic’s withdrawal from the EU and NATO. It is the only genuine opposition not only to the Czech government, but to the entire apparatus of the EU and NATO. The coalition currently holds two seats in the European Parliament, dozens of seats in regional assemblies, and several hundred municipal councilors, the majority of whom are communists. Recent polls show that the coalition would win 5% of the vote — the threshold for entering parliament — in the upcoming October elections. These figures clearly alarm the pro-European political establishment, which is now resorting to repression to undermine the will of the Czech people.

Western imperialists no longer even pretend to believe in the myths of “democracy,” “human rights,” or “freedom of speech.” The arrest of an anti-EU presidential candidate in Romania and the pro-European protests in Slovakia and Georgia show that the imperialists and their lackeys are willing to trample even their own laws when they no longer serve their interests. Today, these enemies of the people attack the communists in the Czech Republic — tomorrow, it could be any country following the path of “European values,” including Serbia.

NKPJ expresses solidarity with the Czech communists, anti-imperialists, and patriots, while emphasizing that only an anti-imperialist coalition led by communists can bring independence, equality, and prosperity to the Czech people. As communists in Serbia, we also stress the urgent need to form a similar left-patriotic, anti-imperialist front in our country, because only such a front can defend not only communists, but the entire working people from scenarios like those unfolding in the Czech Republic, Poland, or even Ukraine.

Meowdoku has that rare mobile puzzle feeling where the board teaches you as you play. You start by spotting obvious regions, then learn how rows and columns create pressure, then suddenly you’re reading the whole grid. It’s simple, but the strategy keeps deepening.
