Today as we commemorate the 14th anniversary of the Communist Party of Swaziland, it is imperative that we take this moment to reflect deeply on our journey, the challenges we face, and the path forward. This anniversary is not merely a celebration; it is a call to action for all who yearn for justice, equality, and true democracy in our beloved Swaziland.

The Communist Party of Swaziland was founded on the principles of Marxism-Leninism, aiming to address the systemic inequalities and injustices faced by our people. Over the past 14 years, we have witnessed both progress and setbacks in our struggle against oppression. While we have made significant strides in raising awareness about the plight of the marginalized, the political landscape remains fraught with challenges that demand our immediate attention.

The current political lull has created an environment where complacency threatens our movement. Many have become disillusioned, believing that change is unattainable. This mindset must be challenged.

We must recognize that periods of inactivity can lead to the erosion of our hard-won gains. It is time to shake off the inertia and reignite our collective spirit.

The struggle of the oppressed people must resume with renewed energy and focus. We are called to rise against the forces that seek to silence us and to reclaim our agency.

Our history is rich with examples of resilience and resistance. Let us draw inspiration from those who have died and those who continue to suffer daily persecution in the hands of the regime for their conviction to freedom and democracy.

The Mass Mobilisation Programme is designed to galvanize our supporters and the broader community. It is a call for unity among workers, students, women, and all marginalized sections of our population and build a formidable resistance movement.

We must create a platform where every voice is heard, and every contribution is valued. This is not just a Party initiative; it is a movement for all who seek justice.

Sustainability is key to our success. We must ensure that our mobilization efforts are not just short-lived bursts of activity but rather a continuous engagement with the masses and relentless confrontations with the status quo irrespective of what ever conditions the regime creates. We must cultivate a mentality of resilience and victory.

This includes organizing workshops, rallies, protests and educational campaigns that empower individuals with knowledge and skills to participate actively in the struggle with improved understanding of political dynamics.

The insurrectionary seizure of power is not merely a theoretical concept; it is a necessary response to the oppressive structures that govern our lives. We must prepare ourselves to take decisive action when the moment is right.

This requires strategic planning, grassroots organization, and an unwavering commitment to our cause. We must be ready to challenge the status quo.

Our vision for democracy goes beyond mere political representation. It encompasses social, economic, and cultural rights for all citizens.

We envision a Swaziland where the wealth of our country is shared equitably, where every person has access to quality education, healthcare, and opportunities for advancement.

Call to Action

We urge all members and supporters to unite under the banner of the liberation cause. We are stronger in unity, we can effect meaningful change. We must overcome any weaknesses that promotes cracks within the ranks of the movement. The CPS commitment to the movement is in achieving unity of the oppressed people as a whole and a vision for an future where unity for common progress will always prevail without any sect of our population with space to manipulate the other. Tinkundla regime is a system where the royal family and political elites have power to manipulate the majority of the citizens. This must come to an end.

We must engage actively in discussions, protests, and community initiatives. Every voice of the oppressed matters, and active participation is crucial in shaping our collective future.

We reaffirm your commitment to the principles of equality, justice, and liberation. Let these principles guide our actions as we move forward to a socialist Swaziland.

  • We must organise Community meetings to help build the grassroots movement.

  • We must organise protests to disupt the oppression

  • We must mobilise direct action to confront the status quo.

  • We must mobilise progressive and anti Imperialist forces in the region and the world to support our struggle.

  • We must embark on more radical and militant tactics that will help protect the movement and sustain the resistance.

Mswati continues to reject democracy and defy all peaceful processes make it a fallacy to rely only on peaceful protests to achieve our democracy. It is for that reason that the CPS see it necessary for an insurrectionary overthrow of the regime.

As we celebrate this milestone, let us remember that the fight for democracy is ongoing. With renewed vigour and determination, we will not falter. The oppressed people of Swaziland deserve the right to shape their lives, and we will ensure they are heard and their effort is fruitful.

Let this anniversary serve as a rallying point for action and solidarity. The 15th Anniversary of the CPS should be celebrated in a different atmosphere where the mood in our society will be characterised by active struggles
