A display at CANSEC 2016
The Freedom from War Coalition will be assembling at Charles Hoey Park in downtown Duncan by the train station on Wednesday May 31st from Noon until 2 to talk to our community about CANSEC - Canada's global defence and security trade show staged annually in Ottawa since 1998 by the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries, the national industry voice of more than eight hundred Canadian defence and security companies.
On that day and the following day this death fair will be mounted on May 31st – June 1st in Ottawa at the EY Centre. It is the premier showcase for all the instruments of death Canadian weapons industries peddle enthusiastically across the globe. That is our gift to the world.

Everyone is welcome to come and chat with us.
We will have some info and lots of enthusiasm for ending the sale of weapons globally.
For the wellbeing of the people and the planet, we must fight to end investment in death and war. It is our duty to stand against this outrage. Here in Canada our weapons manufacturers are our responsibility. No country which wishes to seek peace and justice should be dealing in armaments.
