The Macedonian Levica (The Left) party has issued a press release regarding a significant and historic diplomatic meeting that took place May 22 in Skopje between Levica and a high-level delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC), led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Chen Zhou:
In the spirit of international solidarity and shared ideals, a high delegation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Chen Zhou, visited the Levica headquarters in Skopje. During the visit, a working meeting was held in a cordial and comradely atmosphere between Levica’s Presidium, headed by President Prof. Dr. Dimitar Apasiev, and the Chinese representatives, focusing on the exchange of experiences and ideological strengthening of mutual cooperation.
The CPC delegation was also briefed on the structure and activities of Levica, its history and long-term vision for the Party, as well as for the Republic of Macedonia.
This important official meeting opens doors for future strategic cooperation, and we emphasize that the visit represents a significant step toward deepening fraternal relations with the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people, based on mutual respect, equality and shared visions for the future. We remain committed to advancing dialogue, internationalism and solidarity among all peoples of the world, which is an essential part of our foreign policy strategy in the conditions of a New multipolar world.
