A three panel stamp from the German Democratic Republic celebrating the 150th anniversary of Karl Marx's birth, 1968. Marx was born May 5, 1818.
On either side of Marx are representations of his two greatest works, the Communist Manifesto (with Engels) and Capital.
The twenty-fourth in our new The Left Chapter series looking at over 70 stamps from the German Democratic Republic, some with quotes and history.
They will culminate in a post with all of the stamps.
