Revolution is Your Right! -- Communist Party of Turkey

Today, 700 million people live in extreme poverty, while 3.5 billion more struggle to survive below the poverty line. In contrast, just 3 thousand capitalists now control a total wealth of 16 trillion dollars.

Our people, too, suffer deeply from this greatest assault of impoverishment in human history. While millions of workers live below the hunger and poverty thresholds, the ten richest capitalists have increased their wealth from 20.9 to 31.9 billion dollars in just five years.

Our immense poverty feeds the insatiable greed of the capitalists, fueling the growth of their already boundless fortunes.

And as poverty deepens, they unleash every form of injustice, corruption, and plunder upon our people — as though those were the rules.

But where do they draw their power from?

Must things always remain this way?

Is the fate of humanity and our country truly unchangeable?

We invite those who give despairing answers to these questions to look to our history and draw inspiration from it. For today marks the anniversary of one of humanity’s most hopeful days.

108 years ago today, the working class showed the world how to seize its future from the hands of capital and the palaces of power.

The October Revolution proved that heaven on earth is possible — when humanity exercises its most precious and historic right: the Right to Revolution.

October became the name of faith in hope, enlightenment, and the future — a compass guiding the peoples of the world. That compass also extended a hand of solidarity to the oppressed and the poor. For this very reason, the only true hand of friendship reaching occupied Anatolia was the hand of October.

Today, humanity faces a brutal and relentless assault — in a world where October has retreated. Yet we know that the only way out of this darkness lies in that same compass.

What we need now is to demand the one true path of emancipation for humanity — to strengthen this voice and organize it. We know that the salvation of our people, tested by great poverty and injustice, can only be achieved by claiming the Right to Revolution!

Salute to the vanguards of the October Revolution, who gifted humanity the only true road to salvation.

Salute to the Bolsheviks who made October, and to their leader, Lenin!

Glory to the Turkish working class and its socialist future!

Revolution is our right — and we will claim it, no matter what!
