Today we are going back to April 1968 to take a look at a feature in the English language Soviet magazine Sputnik.
In this issue Sputnik presented five classic Russian recipes that they called "well tried and tested" and said were taken "straight from old books and manuscripts".
They do all look very good, though the Kundyubki (Bear's Ears) and Chicken Surprise seem like standouts to me.
