Comrade Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, and other comrades of the Presidency.

Brother people of Cuba.

I bring in my voice the echo of the Liberator Simón Bolívar and the eternal flame of our Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez.

We bring a fraternal embrace and infinite gratitude from the people of Venezuela for this sacred land of José Martí and Fidel Castro Ruz.

We also bring the solidarity greeting and gratitude of our president Nicolás Maduro Moros.

Venezuela and Cuba are two brother peoples, who represent the heritage of struggle for liberation and independence embodied by Simón Bolívar and José Martí, whose flags are an essential part of the Cuban Revolution and the Bolivarian Revolution.

We are two nations of peace whose citizens and governments suffer from the supremacism and terrorism driven by U.S. imperialism and its war advocates. The empire is increasingly showing signs of decline, and this internal environment of repression and human rights violations against Americans may lead to a civil war, as numerous experts have warned.

At the U.S. Department of State, Marco Rubio, a racist and neo-fascist, spearheads the aggression against Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua in the U.S.

This despicable figure advocates for and backs policies that persecute, stigmatize, and criminalize all Latin American and Caribbean citizens residing in the U.S., a neo-Nazi policy we condemn and reject.

From this platform, we echo President Nicolás Maduro's appeal to stop the xenophobic campaign associating Venezuelan identity with criminal groups. We also condemn and oppose the campaign against Latin American migrants and their legal persecution in the U.S.

We salute and thank President Díaz-Canel for his initiative, as he stated on September 24 at the start of the signature collection process: It is urgent to avert military aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Under the Monroe Doctrine, an anachronistic recolonization project that views us as its "backyard," the U.S. openly advocates for military aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to enforce regime change and seize our oil.

Imperialism with its war machine in the Caribbean Sea, has heinously killed two modest fishermen in Trinidad and Tobago. This act amounts to war crimes, crimes against humanity, and extrajudicial executions against the people of our region. We call for an end to this terrorist policy against our peoples.

For the first time in history, the U.S. acknowledges that it permits the CIA to conduct operations against Venezuela. In response to this threat, our people are clear-minded, united, aware, and equipped to defeat this conspiracy against Venezuela's peace.

We reaffirm that Cuba and Venezuela will continue to promote the Unity and Integration of Latin America and the Caribbean, for the well-being of all peoples and for the right to live in peace.

There are no backyards here; we are sovereign, free, independent, and combative republics, ready to sacrifice our lives if needed to defend our nations and peoples.

The New World Order and the Imperial Threat

Comrades, the global situation requires us to be clear and resolute. We are observing the fall of unipolarity, along with the desperation of a fading empire. In Washington, they refer to a 'new war policy', as though war were a policy rather than the most barbaric manifestation of failure.

We observe how they extend their warmongering hand in Ukraine and demand that NATO and Europe enter into direct war against Russia, while in the Middle East they impose supposed 'peace agreements' that are nothing more than a euphemism to consolidate the occupation, injustice and crimes of extermination committed by Israeli Zionism against Palestine. This policy of aggression is not unfamiliar to our Caribbean, a region declared a zone of peace that opposes war despite which the U.S. is currently relaunching the Southern Command to exert military control over our continent.

The Path of Unity and Multipolarity

Amidst this imperial decline, hope rises powerfully. The idea of a multipolar world, devoid of hegemonies, is proposed. Our answer to the United States' recolonizing and warmongering agenda is the vision of the Great Homeland, the United America envisioned by Bolívar and Martí. Merely resisting is insufficient; we must build. And we have started this journey, united in the cooperation that Fidel and Chávez left us.

The Cuban People's Force for the Bolivarian Revolution

The Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela represents the ongoing pursuit of the dream a sovereign America. To ensure this vision of freedom becomes permanent and remains free from U.S. and Western interference, the moral strength and wisdom of the Cuban Revolution are more crucial than ever.

You are the longest-standing trench, the living proof that the blockade can be overcome, demonstrating that socialism can be constructed with dignity. Their support, the solidarity of their people, and the steadfastness of their principles are the oxygen that fuels our hope of expanding the continental victory.

Cuba and Venezuela are the heart of the resistance in this new century. Together, we will make our America a zone of peace and full sovereignty.

"Fortunately, a handful of free men have been seen to defeat a powerful empire!" Letter from Simón Bolívar to Jhon Baptista Irving, October 7, 1818

Cuba's struggle is Venezuela's struggle!

Long live Bolívar!

Long live Martí!

Long live Che!

Long live Fidel!

Long live Chávez!

Long live the Great Homeland!
