The Cuban Communist Party delegation was led by Central Committee member and head of the Department of International Relations, Emilio Lozada García, who, in his speech at the opening session, recognized the Soviet people's achievements in the victory over fascism.

The Second International Anti-Fascist Forum, which met from April 22 to 24 in Moscow, condemned the imposition of sanctions against Cuba and imperialism's aggressiveness towards sovereign states.

Organized by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), this International Forum was dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) in the Great Patriotic War and was attended by representatives of left-wing and progressive political parties, trade unions, women's and youth movements from over 100 countries.

In his keynote address, CPRF President Gennady Zyuganov highlighted the success of the Cuban revolutionary process in building socialism and addressed the imposition of sanctions against our country.

The delegation of the Cuban Communist Party was led by Emilio Lozada García, a member of the Central Committee and head of the Department of International Relations. In his speech at the opening session, he recognized the feat of the Soviet people in their victory over fascism and reaffirmed the need for unity among leftist and progressive forces to confront the current threats posed by this scourge. At the same time, he condemned the aggressive policy of the United States government against Cuba and emphasized the firm will of the Cuban Party and people to continue building socialism and defend the achievements of the Revolution.

In the afternoon, Lozada García moderated the third working session, along with Yuri Afonin, vice president of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPFR), which addressed fascism in Latin America and condemned Israel's genocide against the Palestinian people.

Being present at the Forum also provided an opportunity to hold bilateral meetings with the leaders of the CPRF and several of the party leaders who attended this important event.
