We Do Not Kneel To Capitalists or Tyrants! This Is Our Call for May Day - Communist Party of Turkey (TKP)

We are living through hard times -and we are angry. Angry at the system we live under and those who represent it.

We are experiencing deep poverty of a kind one might only witness under extraordinary circumstances, such as war.

Exploitation grows harsher with every passing day. They steal our labor, our sweat, our years, our lives without caring whether we are children or adults, women or men. They impose conditions of slavery on us, the working people, who work to live in peace, build a better life, and secure their future.

All of this is happening so that a handful of capitalists can become even richer. They leave no room for hope for tomorrow. They don’t care about that. A handful of shameless and greedy capitalists are plundering the country, ravaging nature, and the workers are left with slavery and poverty.

They want a Turkey where the working class has no voice; where international monopolies, big holdings, and religious cults reign unchecked. They are seizing all the wealth created by the sweat of the people.

This is a system built on exploitation and inequality. The AKP embodies this inequality and governs solely to strengthen and prolong this exploitative system. That is why the AKP is tyrannical, because it serves this system of exploitation, looting and oppression. Justice is crushed, laws are trampled, and even the people’s right to vote and be elected is violated, all to keep this corrupt system alive.

They don’t want anyone to question this situation; they want workers to have no say.

They are forcing us to kneel before the AKP government, which represents this order of plunder and exploitation.

They want workers who obey and bow their heads. They want us to kneel before the AKP regime, which represents this system of plunder and exploitation.

But we, the workers, do not accept the dark future being forced upon us. We are filled with just anger toward those who have stolen our lives and our country.

Let it be known: We do not kneel. We will never kneel before capitalists or tyrants.

Now is the time to turn this anger into an organized force.

On May Day, workers will unite under the banner of the Communist Party of Turkey to break this darkness and fight against exploitation and inequality.

We call on all who believe in a secular, independent, and sovereign country… All who uphold the Republican legacy of Turkey… All who oppose imperialism and NATO… And all who see socialism as the only path to salvation for humanity and our country:
