Amid the complex situation facing the country of Cuba, the highest governing body of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) between Congresses has called for its 10th Plenary Session to be held July 4 and 5, at which vital issues of the Cuban economy and society, directly impacting the population, will be analyzed.

The implementation of the Government Program to correct distortions and boost the economy, and the plan to stabilize the national electricity system, are among the most important topics to be discussed.

The evaluation of the cadre policy strategy, approved at the 8th Congress, will also be part of the agenda, as is the proposal for the commemorative program for the centennial of the birth of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.

At the meeting, the Political Bureau will report on its work and the key decisions made during this phase, which is essential in these times.

This will be an opportune occasion to approve the call for the 9th Party Congress.
