April 15th marked a glorious day in the history of the Korean nation’s struggle for national liberation and socialist construction and for the worldwide revolutionary movement writ large. On April 15, 1912 the future Great Leader and emancipator of the Korean nation, Kim Il Sung was born. We send warm greetings and militant solidarity to the Korean working class and peasantry who continue to struggle against the Euro-American imperialist class whether by bolstering socialist construction in the north of the peninsula or by struggling against the neocolonial regime in the southern part and demanding the expulsion of all imperialist bases and finally the reunification of the Korean nation! We send warm greetings and affirmation of solidarity to the vanguard of the Korean socialist revolution, the Workers Party of Korea, also on this glorious anniversary.
Comrade Kim Il Sung’s life is the embodiment of dedication to the oppressed masses of Korea and worldwide. From his youth he became steeled within the righteous anti-Japanese, anticolonial struggle waged by Korean nationalists. Through his work among the Korean masses and anticolonial and communist revolutionaries in Asia and throughout the world comrade Kim Il Sung recognized that the struggle against Japan was only one facet of the struggle to build a sovereign Korean nation. He recognized the systemic nature of Japanese colonialism and fascism and fought side by side with Chinese communists as he recognized that imperialism wherever it may rear its ugly and barbaric head must be smashed. Only through the joint struggle of oppressed nations to smash the yoke of imperialism would the material conditions be satisfactory for the construction of a socialist society worldwide. This integration of socialist patriotism and proletarian internationalism was advanced in the figure, actions and theoretical production of Comrade Kim Il Sung from the time he was fighting in the anti-Japanese, anti-fascist war in the thirties and forties and elucidated clearly during his time as the Supreme Leader of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea. The legacy of Kim Il Sung is seen in the complete steadfastness of the DPRK in the face of military aggression and sanctions by the Euro-American imperialist class and the sheer fact that socialist construction guided by the principles of Juche is very much alive today. Not to mention the fact that the DPRK still maintains a foreign policy based upon proletarian internationalism which is sadly a rare phenomenon today.
On this glorious occasion we encourage our comrades worldwide to study the various theoretical works and speeches written by Comrade Kim Il Sung and familiarize themselves with the militant history of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea. As the worldwide anti-imperialist struggle is centered upon Palestine at this moment it is important to agitate among the masses and ensure that the masses recognize that the genocidal wars in West Asia are just one theater of imperialist aggression. We must ensure that our movement builds real solidarity with the fighting socialist nations of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea and Cuba during this time. We would do well to learn from comrade Kim Il Sung in this matter. Thus, on this anniversary we reaffirm our militant and proletarian internationalist solidarity with the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea, the Workers Party of Korea and all Koreans who are fighting to either free their homeland from neocolonialism and US military occupation or are participating in the socialist construction of Korea!
Long Live the Democratic Republic of Korea!
Long Live Kim Il Sung and the Workers Party of Korea!
Down With Euro-American Imperialism!
All Power to the Oppressed Masses in Struggle!
Long Live the Juche Idea!
In Revolutionary Solidarity,
