On the afternoon of March 20, Emilio Lozada García, a member of the Central Committee and head of the International Relations Department of the Communist Party of Cuba, and Jorge Alberto Kreyness, Secretary General of the Communist Party of Argentina, signed an Aide-mémoire, which deepens the ties between the two political organizations. The adoption of this document reflects the historic ties of friendship and cooperation that unite the two parties and lays the groundwork for the subsequent signing of an Exchange and Cooperation Agreement.

This instrument includes future joint actions in areas of mutual interest, such as political training, participation in spaces for exchange and coordination, and combating the offensive of the fascist right in the region and internationally.

During the exchange, both leaders emphasized the importance of solidarity and the fundamental role that communist parties play in the fight for social justice, equality, and the defense of people's rights. They also agreed that strengthening the unity of the continent's left at the national and regional levels is essential to addressing the current challenges facing Latin America and the Caribbean.

Officials from the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the PCC and the Communist Party of Argentina were also present.
