COMMUNIST PARTY OF SWAZILAND

03 January 2026

The Communist Party of Swaziland (CPS) condemns in the strongest possible terms the barbaric bombing of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela by the US military.

This heinous act of imperialist aggression is a direct attack on the sovereignty, dignity, and independence of the Venezuelan people. It forms part of the ongoing campaign by US imperialism to destroy progressive governments, cripple national development, and seize control of natural resources across the Global South.

The CPS expresses its unwavering solidarity with the people of Venezuela, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), and all revolutionary and patriotic forces defending the Bolivarian Revolution. The resilience of the Venezuelan working class and peasantry stands as a beacon of resistance to imperial domination and capitalist exploitation.

We call upon the international community — progressive movements, governments, and all peace-loving peoples of the world — to condemn in one voice this act of state terrorism by the United States. The bombing of a sovereign nation constitutes a grave violation of international law and an assault on the collective right of nations to self-determination.

The CPS further denounces all reactionary forces and governments that support, justify, or remain silent in the face of this aggression. Their complicity strengthens the hand of imperialism and betrays the global struggle for freedom, justice, and socialism.

The people of Venezuela have every right to defend their revolution and to resist, by all necessary means, the invasion and theft of their national wealth. The fight against imperialism is the fight for the liberation of all humanity. The victory of the Venezuelan people will echo across the world as a triumph for all oppressed and exploited peoples.

Hands off Venezuela!

Down with US imperialism!

Long live the Bolivarian Revolution!

Forward with international solidarity!

Condemning the U.S. Aggression Against Venezuela

The Palestinian Communist Party strongly condemns, in the harshest terms, the blatant imperialist military aggression carried out by the United States of America against the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, and other areas of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on January 3, 2026.

This criminal aggression is not an isolated incident; rather, it is a direct expression of the very essence of U.S. imperialism as a brutal and aggressive force that does not hesitate to use its war machine to destroy peoples, break their revolutionary will, and punish all those who refuse to submit to the global system of capitalist plunder and exploitation. The bombing of airports and strategic facilities constitutes a full-fledged act of war, a crime of aggression against an unarmed people, and a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of an independent state and of the rules of international law, which imperialism falsely and hypocritically claims to uphold.

The targeting of Venezuela today comes within the context of the ongoing imperialist offensive against the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean, and against all revolutionary and progressive forces that have chosen the path of national independence and popular sovereignty. In essence, it is the same face of imperialist-Zionist aggression that our Palestinian people are subjected to, with direct U.S. support, in an attempt to subjugate them, crush their resistance, and erase their national and historical rights.

From its position in the trenches of the global class and liberation struggle, the Palestinian Communist Party declares its full and unconditional internationalist solidarity with the Communist Party of Venezuela, and with the Venezuelan working class and militant people. It affirms that the battle of Venezuela is the battle of all peoples struggling against imperialism, and that victory there is a victory for all forces of liberation worldwide.

The Palestinian Communist Party calls upon the international communist and workers’ movement, revolutionary parties, and popular, democratic, and anti-imperialist forces to move beyond statements of condemnation toward organized revolutionary action; to escalate political and mass solidarity efforts; to expose the crimes of U.S. imperialism; and to work to isolate it and resist its aggressive policies on all fronts.

Down with U.S. imperialism

Down with its wars of aggression

Long live a free and independent Venezuela

Long live internationalist solidarity

Victory to the struggling peoples

Against Venezuela and Its People

On Saturday morning (3 January 2026), amid growing calls, as the New Year is ushered in, for the extinguishing of the flames of wars and tensions around the world so that peoples may enjoy stability, security, and prosperity, the United States launched a blatant military aggression against the independent Republic of Venezuela. This aggression had been preceded by statements threatening military intervention and an economic blockade of its ports.

We are facing a dangerous American escalation that undermines international peace and imposes the legitimacy of force over law. The practices of the Trump administration, represented by aerial bombardment and reports of the abduction of the Venezuelan president and his wife, are nothing but international piracy that violates sovereignty and terrorizes peoples. This new American arrogance under the Trump administration represents a further attempt to silence any voice, anywhere, that refuses to submit to oppressive American hegemony.

As we condemn this flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter, we demand an immediate halt to the aggression, the lifting of the blockade on the Venezuelan people, and the release of the abducted president.

We renew our solidarity with the people of Venezuela and their progressive forces, and we call upon the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and to exert pressure to ensure respect for state sovereignty and the right of peoples to self-determination.

We strongly condemn U.S. aggression against Venezuela!

While freedom-loving peoples welcomed the New Year with hopes for a tranquil year and global peace, Trump and his administration, by attacking the Venezuelan people and violating their country's sovereignty, have once again violated world peace and the national rights of that nation.

Donald Trump has clearly proven that he is attempting to continue the historical path of the United States in imposing global hegemony and shifting the geography of war. This is an act of military aggression against an independent state and a member of the United Nations, which deserves the strongest condemnation; it is a blatant violation of all principles of international law.

The primary American intentions for removing the President of Venezuela fall within the framework of an "economic" and "international political" strategy to expand its power as a global pole. The United States, which has now lost its capacity for economic growth and competition (at its former levels), is attempting to rectify the tilted balance it holds against other rival global poles by securing energy and oil resources.

This military attack is a return to the method of "imposed realpolitik" which the U.S. is re-employing alongside Trump's re-nomination; however, in the current stage, it is being carried out more intensely than before through unprecedented advancements in military technology and field espionage. The violation of international laws—not only by the U.S. but also by other poles—has currently become a means to secure geopolitical interests and impose new equations on the world. What is happening in Latin America will be repeated this year and in the coming years in other countries of that region that resist American ambitions, especially those nations and states that are militarily weak.
