Cuban delegation on solidarity visit to Venezuela

A delegation led by Roberto Morales Ojeda, a member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, arrived this Wednesday in the homeland of Bolívar and Chávez to reaffirm the Cuban Revolution's unwavering support for the Bolivarian process.

CARACAS, Venezuela — Since all the peoples of Our America must unite closely like silver in the roots of the Andes, Roberto Morales Ojeda, a member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, arrived in the sister nation of Venezuela on Wednesday.
At Simón Bolívar International Airport, he was welcomed by Tania Díaz, the deputy and leader of the Bolivarian Revolution's parliamentary bloc; Eduardo Piñate, the executive secretary of the national leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV); Yosneisy Paredes, the commissioner of International Youth Relations for the PSUV; and Dagoberto Rodríguez Barrera, Cuba's ambassador to the Bolivarian nation.

He also thanked the United Socialist Party of Venezuela for the invitation "for this working visit, which will allow us to follow up on the exchange and cooperation agreement signed in August 2023 between the two Parties and consolidate our relations in different spheres."
Morales Ojeda, along with his accompanying delegation, will engage in a comprehensive schedule of activities. This includes paying tribute to the Liberator Simón Bolívar and Commander Hugo Chávez Frías, meeting with the country's top authorities, and interacting with Cuban collaborators on mission here.

The official Cuban delegation is also made up of Jorge Luis Broche Lorenzo, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Party and head of the Productive Economic Department; Emilio Lozada García, head of the Department of International Relations; Aylín Álvarez García, first vice-rector of the University of the Ñico López Party; Meyvis Estévez Echevarría, first secretary of the National Committee of the UJC; Osnay Miguel Colina Rodríguez, president of the Organizing Committee of the 22nd Congress of the CTC.
