The GAZ-69 was a Soviet four-wheel drive off-road vehicle originally produced by GAZ (ГАЗ, or Gorkovsky Avtomobilnyi Zavod, Gorky Automobile Factory). After that they were produced at other factories including some in the Romanian People's Republic / Socialist Republic of Romania as well as the DPRK. They were an early Soviet off-roader and primarily used by the military including the militaries of many socialist countries.
