GAZ-20 Pobeda (1946-1958) The first domestic passenger car with a monocoque body. It was produced under license in the Polish People's Republic (1951-1974). In the USSR, 236 thousand cars were manufactured, in the Polish People's Republic - 253 thousand. Engine displacement is 2112 cm3, power - 50 hp, length - 4.67 m, curb weight - 1460 kg, speed - 105 km / h, seats - 5

The hugely popular GAZ-M20 Pobeda was one of the first Soviet cars of almost entirely original design. It was originally intended to be called "Rodina" (Homeland), but the name "Pobeda" (Victory) was chosen after the war. The 236,000 production run in the USSR at the Gorky Automobile Plant included 14,222 convertibles and 37,492 taxis.
