On the opening day of the Fête de l'Humanité, following the signing of an Exchange and Cooperation Agreement with the French Communist Party (PCF), the Central Committee delegation of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), led by Juan Miguel García, head of the Office of Administration and Services, took part in a discussion on potential cooperation in the health sector at the Coopérative des Élus stand.
Later, at the central stage of the Village du Monde, a venue for international presentations, a discussion occurred regarding the intensified blockade against Cuba following Donald Trump's return. Participants included Juan Miguel García, the Cuban Ambassador to France; Otto Vaillant; Katia Aruca Chaple, an official from the Department of International Relations of the Central Committee of the PCC; and Charlotte Balavoine, co-coordinator of the PCF's Cuba Solidarity Campaign. The debate attracted over 300 attendees.
The day ended with the inauguration of the Granma-Cuba Cooperation stand, featuring a heartfelt tribute to Víctor Fernández, the recently deceased former president of the organization, who made significant contributions to promoting solidarity with Cuba.
