The delegation from the Communist Party of Cuba, which took part in the International Conference in Ghana marking the 80th anniversary of the Fifth Pan-African Congress, ended its program with a heartfelt meeting with Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the National President of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The Ghanaian political leader reaffirmed the historical connections that bind our parties and peoples and reiterated his support for Cuba's struggle against the blockade.
In response, Yuneidys Imbert Chaple, the deputy head of the Department of Attention to the Social Sector, expressed gratitude to the NDC for its ongoing support, highlighted by the recent donation of resources provided by the government of Ghana to aid in the recovery of the provinces impacted by Hurricane Melissa.
The National President of the NDC was joined by the Director of International Relations and the Ambassador-designate to Cuba, Kofi Attor, along with his deputy director, Dr. Karl Mark Arhim.
