Beginning Wednesday, September 24, and continuing until the 30th of this month, books will be available in all workplaces, student areas, and communities in Cuba for collecting signatures in support of the Declaration of the Cuban Revolutionary Government: The world must act urgently to prevent military aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela
During his recent meeting in Caracas with Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro Moros, Roberto Morales Ojeda, a member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Party, announced this initiative. It will demonstrate the Cuban people's support for the Bolivarian Revolution, for Maduro, the legitimate president of the South American nation, and for the popular fusion of military and police forces.
"This will represent not just a declaration from our country's leadership, but from all our citizens in support of Venezuela and in opposition to the aggressions you are experiencing," stated Morales Ojeda. He clarified that once the signing process is complete, the books will be sent to the Venezuelan president, expressing confidence that "millions of Cubans will endorse" it.
Collecting signatures will further demonstrate the support from mass and social organizations, as well as Cuban civil society as a whole, for the struggle of the Venezuelan people against the increasing hostilities from the empire, utilizing all resources available in unconventional warfare.
To effectively plan this day, we recommend:
Beginning Wednesday, September 24, the books will stay open in all workplaces, schools, and communities.
Workers, peasants, high school and college students, combatants, intellectuals and artists, athletes, and others will take part in the process.
On the 30th, at the conclusion of the process, it will include acts, cantatas and other activities of a massive nature in support of the Venezuelan people.
