On the 28th, the Trump administration and Israel launched a large-scale attack against Iran. This is an unlawful preemptive strike that brutally tramples the UN Charter and international law, and we condemn it in the strongest terms.
Of utmost gravity is that U.S. President Trump has labeled the Iranian government a “terrorist regime,” declared he will carry out massive and sustained operations to “annihilate [Iran’s] navy,” and openly called for regime change by telling the Iranian people to “take over your government.”
If the Trump administration, together with Israel, carries out large-scale and sustained attacks aimed at overthrowing the Iranian regime, it will inevitably deal a severe blow to peace and stability in the Middle East and the world.
The Japanese Communist Party strongly demands that the Trump administration immediately halt the attacks and return to a negotiated solution.
The new aggression against Iran by the bandit state US and the genocidal Israel began today. This attack targets and threatens not only Iran, but all the peoples of the region — including our own country, Turkey.
At this point, Turkey must not, under any circumstances, be used as a launching pad for these attacks. The US bases on Turkish soil must be closed at once, and all intelligence support extended from Turkey to the United States and Israel must be cut off immediately.
Today, humanity faces a defining test. There is no room for ambiguity in the face of this barbaric aggression. Beginning with “but Iran…” is to align with U.S. and Israeli aggression.
Communist Party of Turkey stands with the people of Iran against this imperialist attack.
This aggression must be stopped; this banditry must be repelled.
The people of Iran will win and imperialism will lose!

We in Friends of Swazi Freedom firmly condemn the joint military aggression by the USA and Zionist Entity against the Islamic Republic of Iran in the early morning of February 28, 2026. These operations targeting Iranian governmental institutions, military infrastructure and civilian areas including the capital Tehran elucidate the terroristic nature of imperialism at its worst. Statements by both war criminals and leaders of fascist regimes in the US and Zionist Entity confirm that the imperialist military aggression will be continuous with the goal of regime change. Let it be known that this blatant military aggression signifies the anti-human nature of the imperialist world system. The moribund imperialist class will always sacrifice workers, peasants and oppressed masses writ large throughout the world as long as there is a potential to dismantle counter-hegemonic polities and ensure that spatial expansion for the accumulation of capital is ensured. We assert that the oppressed masses of the world cannot wait for international institutions such as the United Nations to reign in imperialist aggression, we ourselves now more than ever must organize and mobilize to disrupt supply/value chains and force the imperialist class to end their reign of terror against the popular masses worldwide and in this specific instance, Iran, Palestine and West Asia writ large.
We in Friends of Swazi Freedom are anti-imperialists and proletarian internationalists. We recognize this joint operation of terror as blatant imperialist aggression and condemn fiercely. The Islamic Republic of Iran has every right to retaliate and defend its sovereignty, this a sovereign right that every legitimate nation has. We firmly believe that there is a real need for coordination among revolutionary, anti-imperialist and progressive organizations worldwide to resist this imperialist aggression and to build a movement that will ultimately break the stranglehold that the terroristic Euro-American imperialist class has the world and oppressed masses in. How many more lives must be snuffed out of existence by imperialist military operations, sanctions and other mechanisms used by the imperialist class to keep nations worldwide within the imperialist world system? How many more lives must be sacrificed upon the altars of capital accumulation? The time to work together seriously to transform this anti-human world order is now.
